By using Prefolio, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of the service

Prefolio is a personal tool for logging your experiences and preparing application materials. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log.

Your account

You need an account to use Prefolio. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you log in Prefolio. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service, including sending it to our AI provider when you request a generation.

AI-generated content

AI-generated outputs are drafts and starting points. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all materials before submitting them to any application. Prefolio makes no guarantees about application outcomes.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some AI features are limited on free accounts. If paid subscriptions are offered, they are billed through your app store account, renew automatically unless cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled in your app store subscription settings.

Limitation of liability

Prefolio is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service or from application outcomes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
